Works with departments within the hospital to ensure appropriate and timely patient placement. Assists staff in obtaining needed supplies and equipment. Utilizes chain of command to address departmental or facility issues. Responds to emergencies on the campus. Implements emergency plans for the facility. Interacts with patients, families, staff and physicians to ensure prompt resolution of concerns. Supports hospital mission, vision and goals. Places personal emphasis on customer service. Able to apply problem-solving methods and make appropriate decisions. Able to work cooperatively with others in accomplishing goals. Able to express self clearly and with confidence. Demonstrates initiative, self-direction. Neat appearance, pleasant personality, professional manner and conduct. An effective organizer of self and others.
